Fishing Report February 2, 2024

Spawn Fishing is just around the bend and the Shad Spawn is right at the end of the bass spawn!! going to be great next few months so book fast.

The water is up to 402.8 so we are just below full pool and it seems the forecast will support some more rain here to keep the water level pretty stable going into the spawn.  Given these will be some of the best conditions we have had in 3 years, I have pretty strong expectations for the fishing this spring here on Lake Fork. 

I am just now starting to get back on the water on a regular basis and will keep these reports updated.  The warmest water I found yesterday was 51.4   I was just out scouting around and was seeing baitfish balls out on the main lake in the 25-30 depths.
